Caitlin’s martial arts journey began in 2001 under the guidance of Master Guy Vincent. Over the years, Caitlin had the opportunity to train in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and women’s self-defence, as well as compete in sparring and poomse tournaments. She currently holds a 4th Degree Black Belt and remains committed to practicing and sharing the traditions of martial arts.
Outside of the dojang, Caitlin studied Kinesiology at the University of Winnipeg, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Health and Education, and went on to complete a Bachelor of Education at Université de Saint-Boniface. This background has helped her connect her passion for teaching with her love for martial arts.
Even though Caitlin is a teacher, she sees herself as a lifelong student. She continues to learn, grow, and challenge herself so she can pass that same mindset on to her students. Classes are offered in both French and English, making them welcoming to families from different backgrounds.
Caitlin’s goal as an instructor is to guide students not only in developing their martial arts skills, but also in becoming respectful, confident, and well-mannered individuals. She believes the lessons learned on the mats extend far beyond them—helping kids and adults alike succeed in all areas of life.
